B. A. Culture and Technology - Core discipline Philosophy

The core subject philosophy provides access to the various methods and subject areas of philosophy. While studying you shall learn to ask historical and systematic questions of philosophical nature by using methods of hermeneutic interpretation and logic reconstructions of arguments, as well as developing reasoned statements on philosophical problems.

For that you will learn all necessary tools and skills during your studies, such as e. g. the scientific interpretation of philosophical, even foreign-language ressources and the handling of bibliographic facilities.

Among other things, the Bachelor's Degree Culture and Technnology also provides the qualification for the Master's Degree Philosophy of Science and Knowledge.

The core subject Philosophy includes the following moduls (50 ECTS) as well the bachelor thesis (10 ECTS).
